Quick Start Guide

Get up and running with Inkress in just a few minutes. This guide will walk you through creating your first payment link.

Step 1: Access Your Dashboard

Log in to your Inkress account and navigate to your dashboard. This is your central hub for managing all payment activities.

Step 2: Create Your First Payment Link

Payment links are the easiest way to start accepting payments. Here's how:

  1. Click on "Payment Links" in the sidebar menu
  2. Click the "Add New" button
  3. Fill in the required information:
    • Name: Internal name for your reference
    • Amount: Set a fixed price or allow customers to enter their own
    • Currency: Choose JMD or USD
    • Description: What the payment is for (shown to customers)
  4. (Optional) Configure advanced settings like expiration date and redirect URLs
  5. Click "Create Payment Link"

Success!

Your payment link is now ready to use. You'll receive a unique URL that looks like:

Step 3: Share Your Payment Link

Now that you have a payment link, you can share it anywhere:

Social Media

Share on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, or any social platform

Email & Messaging

Send via email, WhatsApp, SMS, or any messaging app

QR Code

Generate and print QR codes for in-person payments

Website Button

Embed a payment button directly on your website

Step 4: Receive Payment Notifications

When a customer makes a payment:

  • You'll receive an email notification
  • The payment will appear in your dashboard
  • Funds will be available in your account balance

Step 5: Request a Payout

Once you have funds in your account:

  1. Go to the Payouts section
  2. Click "Request Payout"
  3. Enter the amount you want to withdraw
  4. Confirm your bank account details
  5. Submit your request

Payouts are typically processed within 1-3 business days.
